In a beautifully written story by Kelly Irvine about faith, patience and God’s timing, she’s able to yet again capture our hearts.

Following the death of her father, Leila, moves with her mother who has recently remarried and is headed to Bee County Texas to start a new journey. Though she’s happy for her mother, Leila begins to worry if she,  herself will ever find love .

When Leila goes to a store in town, she meets Jesse Glick, the son of the Bishop, and the owner of the store. Their first meeting has Leila mesmerized. Though Jesse warned her not too, and his cousin advised Leila to be cautious, she can’t help it, she’s already fallen for him.

Unbeknownst to Leila, Jesse is attempting to deal with his own internal struggles, and doesn’t want to hurt her. He’s decided against being baptized in the Amish faith, this is something, he won’t be able to keep from his father much longer.
Knowing this, Will, Jesse’s cousin, who has had feelings for Leila decides it’s a perfect time to make a move on her, which has her confused and questioning her feelings for Jesse and Will.
Much like Leila and Jesse, I’m sure we’ve all had situations in our life where we felt conflicted, and were unsure of what to do. It is in these times, we must stay in prayer, and have faith in God’s perfect timing, for He already knows the outcome, we just have to trust in Him to get us there.

I just loved this story and know you will too. This would make a great gift for anyone of all ages. I received free copy of this book from Net Galley for my honest review.

Earths Table

Food is more than sustenance. It’s heritage, healing, and home. In these pages, of Wandas Brunstetter's  book Farm to Table, you will  discover a celebration of simple abundance: recipes passed down through generations, the quiet beauty of rural life, and the deep connection between what we grow and how we live. Whether you're drawn in by the aroma of warm bread, the rhythm of planting seasons, or the stories held within every shared meal, this book invites you to slow down, gather close, and rediscover the richness that comes when we eat with intention and live in harmony with the earth.  Meet the Author:  Welcome to my writing world. It is my hope that you will not only enjoy a good story when reading one of my books, but will learn more about the Amish way of life. As I have come to know and love my special Amish Friends, I’ve been filled with the realization that, while they may live and dress differently than most of us “Englishers,” they experience the same joy...
Something Old by Diane Christner   Something Old , the first book in a series of Plain City Bridesmaid, takes place in Plain City , Ohio , where young Katy Yoder is living her life as a Conservative Mennonite. Nursing a heart broken by her love Jake Byler when he left the faith, Katy moves on and recovers in a life of peace and simplicity. That is, until her world becomes turbulent when Jake returns seeking redemption from the church and forgiveness from her heart.   Confused, angry, and torn, Katy faces a difficult test of faith as she seeks the strength of God to forgive a man who hurt her so deeply. Her journey is one that is painfully familiar, the struggle to forgive those who have wounded us. It is in these times that we are vulnerable to temptation, to weakness of spirit, and indulgence in anger. Katy's story is one of courage that shows us how faith can show us the way, even when  we wonder if God is listening. A w...
