The Farmers Bride is the 2nd next book in Kathleen Fuller's  Brides of Birch Creek series. I have just enjoyed being taken to Birch Creek and getting to know each and every one. In this latest book, it brings such joy and heartache, but all for reasons the lovely Martha Detweiler may not understand and neither does her friend Seth who has been teaching her a few things on woodworking.
If you want to be moved and find God's grace that is shown in this story then you must pick up your copy of this book. I guarantee you, you will be blessed by this story.

I was under no obligation to give a review. My review is my own thoughts on this book.

It is in these times that we are vulnerable to temptation, to weakness of spirit, and indulgence in anger. Katy's story is one of courage that shows us how faith can show us the way, even when  we wonder if God is listening. A w...

Whether you're drawn in by the aroma of warm bread, the rhythm of planting seasons, or the stories held within every shared meal, this book invites you to slow down, gather close, and rediscover the richness that comes when we eat with intention and live in harmony with the earth.  Meet the Author:  Welcome to my writing world. It is my hope that you will not only enjoy a good story when reading one of my books, but will learn more about the Amish way of life. As I have come to know and love my special Amish Friends, I’ve been filled with the realization that, while they may live and dress differently than most of us “Englishers,” they experience the same joy...
