A Refreshing Story of Truth

Book 1 in the new Friendship Letters series

A Simple Letter Carries Inspiration for Healing

Life is good on their Pennsylvania Amish farm for newlyweds Vic and Eleanor Lapp—until a tragedy occurs, causing Vic to turn to alcohol in order to numb the pain. Things get so bad that Vic loses his job and their marriage is coming apart. Eleanor is desperate to help her husband and writes letters to her friend, Doretta, for advice. The trust Eleanor places in her friend and the gentle words she receives in return are a balm for even darker days to come in this first book of The Friendship Letters series by New York Times Bestselling Author Wanda E. Brunstetter.

My thoughts

Letters of Trust is the first book in Wanda Brunstetter's new series, Friendship Letter series. This book is not what you think it may be about. I truly enjoyed reading this book and how Wanda brought real-life issues into this series that show how we are all human. I highly recommend this book. Be prepared to be moved while you are reading and trust me, you won't put this down.

WANDA’S WILLKUM

Wanda Brunstetter: Amish Country's Most Beloved Storyteller

Welcome to my writing world. It is my hope that you will not only enjoy a good story when reading one of my books, but will learn more about the Amish way of life.

As I have come to know and love my special Amish Friends, I’ve been filled with the realization that, while they may live and dress differently than most of us “Englishers,” they experience the same joys and deal with the same struggles as we do. Writing about the Amish fills my heart with joy and peace. I hope reading about the Amish will do that for you as well.

Mitt Lieb, (With love),

Wanda

Response: From the time I began reading I started writing short stories and poems. I had an imagination as a child. When I was in second grade I wrote a poem about a moth. QUESTION 2: From all of the different genres that you could have chosen, how did you decide upon Amish life as your primary focus? Response: I chose the Amish life to write about because through my husband, who has a Mennonite background, I met and became friends with many Amish people, whom we have come to know and love. I have a d

What’s even more remarkable is the gift the business bestows upon each of these unmarried women—the unexpected blessing of love . . .   Leaving Flaud’s Furniture to teach at the community’s new school is a joy for Lydianne Christner. Old Order Amish, but new to Morning Star, she’s grateful that the congregation trusts her with the position—but she panics when handsome Bishop Jeremiah Shetler asks about the life she left behind.
