Recipe Wednesday

I have been a little missing in action lately but for good reason. We have had friends in and been in Lancaster, Pa. While I was in Lancaster I stopped in one of my favorite places and picked up Zook's pot pies. I love bringing them home and freezing them on nights like tonight when I have be running all day. This evening is Zook's pot pie. I hope you visit them while visiting in Lancaster county and take some home for you family. Simple, and delicious. I have listed a link below for you to visit their web site. https://reallancastercounty.com/local-eats/local-pa-dutch/zooks-homemade-chicken-pies/

Recipe Wednesday

Todays recipe comes from one of Wanda Brunstetter's cookbook. This was yet another simple recipe to make and I am sure it will be a hit at the table. When I think about what to make for dinner I think about what I have on hand without running to the store and I try to make those one dish meals. I will say it over and over how much I love a one dish meal when cooking for my family. One dish casseroles are easy to clean up and always leftovers, which I am also a fan of. With all that being said, here is another recipe to add to your collection. Enjoy! My son, eat thou honey, because it is good; and the honeycomb, which is sweet to they taste. Proverbs 24:13
