What is one thing your readers would be most surprised to learn about you? When I was writing JOURNEY TO LOVE ( one of my early Angels or Mercy books) I bought an accordion and taught myself how to play it as part of my research! Are you a plotter or a pantser? I’m a bit of both: I have to have a general idea of a book’s characters, story line, and some of the scenes that change the story’s direction before I can start writing—but then, I have to turn in such synopses to my editor ahead of time, too, so this information gets written down and submitted anyway. However, writing a 10-page synopsis for a 300 page book leaves you lots of opportunities for unexpected ideas and scenes, and I always like to go with these bursts of inspiration! I figure if a
